Hey, I’m Emily!
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) who works with clients aged 15+ virtually through phone or video sessions.
Life can be overwhelming, and it’s not always easy to know where to turn or who to talk to. Taking the first step into counselling can feel scary and vulnerable, so my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, comfortable, and free to be your authentic self. I believe in the power of feeling seen and heard through life’s challenges. Together we can find a path forward that lightens the load.
My approach to counselling is rooted in trauma-informed and person-centered care, meaning I meet you where you are. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you, offering support as you navigate the challenges you’re facing. Together, we can also explore how past experiences may be affecting you in the here and now.
I incorporate elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which focuses on living in alignment with your core values while learning to accept your thoughts and emotions rather than struggling against them. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, thoughts of suicide, or challenges in your relationships, I’m here to support you. In our work together we will find a balance of creating a space where you feel deeply heard while also exploring practical strategies to help you move forward.
Come as you are—we’ll figure out the next steps together.

Tyler is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) who has been supporting individuals with their mental wellness needs in the community of Prince George over the past 16 years.
Working within the health authority during this time has afforded him an understanding of the complex nature of mental health and the struggles people encounter when seeking support, recognizing the unique challenges faced within this region, and how difficult it can be to find care that feels right.
Tyler aims to truly meet clients where they are at, working collaboratively to create a space of curiosity and compassion that allows individuals to discover new, more meaningful ways of living. His approach is based on connection, appreciating the power of relationships as a gateway to growth and healing. Many theories are integrated into his way of working, which is primarily grounded in a humanistic, client-centered approach, viewing therapy through a trauma-informed lens, and weaving elements of narrative therapy to honour the stories that shape a person.
In your work together, you’ll be supported to explore the experiences that influence your life, reconnecting with your strengths, empowering your voice, and re-authoring the narratives that no longer serve you. You will be seen as the expert in your own life, as Tyler walks alongside you with curiosity and respect, in a non-judgmental space where your voice leads the way. Meet our HaloRed™ booth.
Halotherapy is also known as dry salt therapy. Dry pure grade pharmaceutical salt sodium chloride is ground into tiny micro-particles in a special machine called a Halogenerator. These dry salt micro-particles are then dispersed into the booth.
Red Light is absorbed by the skin, boosting collagen production, & aiding skin conditions. Near infrared penetrates deeper aiding muscle recovery, cellular renewal, & joint pain.
Experience a holistic, natural therapy that promotes better breathing, healthier skin, sounder sleep, and overall wellness.
Possible Side Effects: Dry or itchy throat, nasal drip, and increased coughing at the beginning. This is a natural part of the cleaning process of the respiratory system, during which the pollution, accumulated through a long time, and now loosened up by the salt, is expelled from even the deepest regions of the lungs. Such side effects should cease with the removal of pollution and pathogens. Skin irritation and dermal sensitivity may occur. In such a case, decrease the frequency of sessions; and connect with a licensed healthcare professional. Always consult with your medical professional prior to your session to determine if a HaloRed™ session is right for you.

THERMO WELLNESS Therapy Options
Hot-cold contrast therapy, also known as contrast hydrotherapy, is a therapeutic technique that involves alternating between exposure to hot and cold temperatures. This method is typically used to promote various health benefits, both physical and mental. By subjecting the body to alternating heat and cold, contrast therapy aims to stimulate blood circulation, reduce inflammation, soothe sore muscles, and enhance overall well-being.
Infrared Sauna with Chromotherapy, a sauna that uses infrared heaters to emit infrared light. This light is absorbed by the skin, directly heating the body without warming the air around you. Traditional saunas, in contrast, heat air to raise your body’s temperature. Infrared saunas offer a gentle yet effective heat that can penetrate deeper into the tissues, which many believe can help in relaxation, detoxification, and pain relief. Chromotherapy, also known a color therapy, is the use of colours to influence mood, emotions, and overall health.
While Thermo Wellness offers these benefits, it’s important to consult with your healthcare provider before beginning any new treatment, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions or concerns.
